Foodtek Floor Standing Bandsaw 330B

This Bandsaw is great for breaking down large, bulky sections of beef, lamb, or pork it is also great for slicing roasts and cut steaks into portions. Exactly what you want when working with higher volumes of meat.

Tip: We recommend having a couple of spare bandsaw blades on hand so a worn out or damaged blade doesn’t halt your processing day.

Care & safety

• PPE: Wear cut-resistant gloves and eye protection; hearing protection is a good idea in enclosed sheds.
• Power & setup: Plug into a 240 V outlet (RCD protected if possible). For the 330B ensure wheels are locked or the bandsaw is bolted down on solid ground.
• Blade fit & tension: Unplug first. Fit the blade with teeth facing the correct direction, tension gradually, and check tracking before starting. Over-tightening will shorten blade life; too loose can derail the blade.
• Using the saw: Set your guide, power on, and steadily push through your meat cuts. Keep hands well clear and never open doors while it’s running.
• Emergency stop: If anything feels off, hit the E-stop and wait for the blade to stop fully before inspecting.

Clean-down: Unplug first. Wipe with warm, soapy water or food-grade sanitiser; dry thoroughly. Don’t hose, pressure-wash or steam-clean—it can force water into bearings and electrics.

• Maintenance: Check blade tracking and guides regularly, replace worn blades, and clear bone/meat dust and fat build-up from wheels and guards. Inspect cord and plug; if damaged, have a licensed electrician to replace it.
• Safety & Storage : Store with the blade guard closed and out of reach of children; cover or remove the blade if the saw won’t be used for a while.
